Schedule Your First Appointment
To get started, you'll need to book a consultation with our team so that we can assess your orthodontic condition and discuss your needs and goals. Then, we'll develop a plan for your orthodontic treatment.
Fill Out the New Patient Form
Once your consultation is booked, you'll need to fill out our Dental & Medical Health History Form. We invite you to fill out the form online in advance of your first appointment.
The Consultation Process
Your initial consultation will likely take about an hour to complete, and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to getting to know you!
Arrive & Get Settled
We recommend that you arrive about 10 minutes early to get settled and complete any paperwork that may be required. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a member of our front reception team.
While you wait, you can relax in our comfortable reception room and enjoy some refreshments.
We'll then show you to a private and comfortable consultation room where you can wait for your appointment to begin.

Assessment & Diagnostic Imaging
We'll start the consultation by chatting with you about your concerns and goals for treatment. We'll also take some 'Before Treatment' photos of your smile (which are always fun to look back on once treatment is complete).
Next, we'll conduct a thorough exam. This will include some imaging to get a comprehensive picture of your dental health. We'll create a 3D digital image of your teeth using our iTero® scanner. Those scans can be used down the road to create whatever orthodontic appliance you may need.
We can also use the iTero scanner to perform a digital outcome simulation for you, so you can see how your results may look at the end of treatment!

Personalized Treatment Plan
At this point in the process, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss your health history (if needed), review the imaging, and outline indications for orthodontic treatment.
Based on the exam and imaging results, the orthodontist will diagnose your condition and develop a customized treatment plan to address it and work towards your goals. Our treatment coordinator will review the plan with you, and your orthodontist will go over the finer points with you.
This plan will include treatment recommendations, a projected timeline for treatment completion, and an appointment schedule.
We'll also discuss a payment game plan for your treatment. This will include insurance coverage and your payment plan if you like to take advantage of that option.

Next Steps
To close off the appointment, we'll talk to you about immediate next steps to get your treatment plan rolling, and schedule your next appointment(s).
We will also answer any questions you have and provide you with advice, guidance, and support - both during your consultation and throughout your entire orthodontic journey with us.
We love talking about teeth and will take any opportunity to do so! But more importantly, we know that patients who are fully informed about their treatment and understand its ins and outs have the best success, and that's our goal for you!
